What is the LVD and how does it operate?

The LVD is a Low Voltage Disconnect and it serves as several functions. It aids in the charge and discharge monitoring of the battery to do it most efficient and it also cuts out the battery when it see’s a .9 volt left in each cell, NiMH batteries do not like to be completely drained so the LVD helps maintain the health and life of the battery pack.
